FAQ

Do you accept insurance?
We offer both private pay services and insurance-based options for families who prefer to use their benefits.
We offer services on a private pay basis, which allows us to provide highly individualized, flexible care without delays, session limits, or restrictions often required by insurance plans. If your insurance plan includes out-of-network benefits, we are happy to provide a coded receipt (known as a, “superbill”) for possible insurance reimbursement. Families are responsible for understanding their individual coverage and submitting claims if they choose to do so. For families who prefer to use insurance, we partner with a third-party provider that manages insurance authorization and benefits. Availability and scheduling may vary based on insurance requirements and provider network guidelines. If you have questions, we’re happy to help you determine the best fit for your family and guide you through next steps.

How quickly can my child start services?
Private pay clients are typically able to begin services soon after completing initial intake paperwork, as a doctor’s referral is not required.
Start times for insurance-based services may vary depending on referral requirements, authorization timelines, and provider network guidelines.
-
How long are sessions and how frequently do they occur?
We offer 30-minute, 45-minute and 60-minute sessions including discussion of progress and instruction for home practice. Session frequency is typically 1-2 times per week and is determined by results from your child’s evaluation and discussion with your therapist. We also offer bi-weekly and monthly options for your convenience.

Who needs to be present for therapy?
We highly encourage caregivers to be actively engaged in therapy so that they can learn techniques to use on their own. We also understand that as parents, you are likely very busy. At a minimum, we require an adult to be inside the home at all times during the session and present for feedback at the end of the session.
